Marlborough Lampshades

Marlborough is a modern interpretation of a classic rose damask. Shaped through the studio’s exploration of floral form and flowing structure, a hand-drawn rose motif sits within an arrangement of leaves and curves. The pattern balances ornament and openness, creating a gentle sense of movement across the cloth. Printed on light linen, its larger-scale floral design lends itself naturally to lampshades, where the rhythm and scale are revealed across the lampshade, with light diffusing softly through the cloth.


Each lampshade is designed and made in-house by hand in our Marlborough accessories workshop. Careful attention is given to proportion, placement and construction, ensuring the design sits clearly and evenly around the shape. Each design begins as a hand-drawn repeat, developed in the studio with colour created by eye to sit naturally within the wider collection. The result is a lampshade that is balanced and enduring.
