Product information

Each Fermoie design begins on paper, where the full repeat is drawn by hand before being translated to cloth.

Colour is developed in the studio, where each palette is built by eye to sit naturally within the wider collection, to match, to contrast and to work together with ease.

Printed using water-based pigments, our fabrics are produced through a blend of traditional techniques and modern technology, all carried out in-house at our studio and manufacturing home in Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.

The result is a fabric that feels tactile, timeless and quietly infused with the artistry and character that define Fermoie.

Care & usage

Care

Our Indoor-Outdoor fabrics are water-resistant, but not fully waterproof. To ensure long life, store inside when not in use, particularly during periods of strong sunlight, rain, cold, or damp weather.

Fermoie Indoor-Outdoor fabrics are suitable for both machine washing and dry cleaning.

Washing: We recommend using a gentle liquid detergent. Run a full load and wash on a short, cool (30°C/86°F) cycle. Hang to dry.

Dry-clean: We recommend using a professional dry cleaner.

As with our interior fabrics, avoid stains, particularly from oily substances. There is currently no means of making fabrics fully stain-proof without using PFOAS/PFCs and other ‘forever chemicals’, which are incompatible with our founding sustainability principles. We recommended taking the same care with our Indoor-Outdoor fabrics as with our interior fabrics.
