Sicily Fabric

Sicily draws on observations made in Palermo, where architectural detail, textiles, and everyday patterns form a rich visual language.

Explored through drawing in the studio, the design weaves together seaside stripes, folk costume elements, and bold geometric forms. Repetition and variation create a layered composition, giving rhythm and movement across the surface.

A printed fabric with a vibrant, structured character and a strong sense of place.

Each Fermoie design begins on paper, where the full repeat is drawn by hand, then translated to cloth. Colours are developed in the studio, where a colour story is created for each design. Palettes are built by eye, to sit naturally within the wider collection, to match, to contrast, and to work together with ease.

Our production process uses water-based pigments, blending traditional methods with modern technology adapted to the Fermoie aesthetic and quality standards, with each design created in our studio and brought to life in-house in Marlborough, Wiltshire.

The result is a fabric that is tactile, timeless and quietly infused with the artistry and character that define Fermoie.
