Quantock Wallpaper

Quantock is a finely structured design, where line and geometry combine to create a subtle, repeating rhythm.

Formed through the studio’s exploration of small-scale pattern and proportion, fine lines and diamond-like shapes build across the surface. Hand-drawn variation softens the structure, allowing the design to shift gently between stripe and pattern.

A wallpaper with a precise yet quietly expressive character.

The design is translated from fabric into wallpaper, retaining the character of the original textile. Texture, subtle variation, and layered colour are carefully preserved, so the surface carries the same depth and nuance as cloth, gently blurring the distinction between cloth and wall.

Each Fermoie design begins on paper, where the full repeat is drawn by hand, then developed for print.

Colour is developed in the studio, where a colour story is created for each design. Palettes are built by eye, to sit naturally within the wider Fermoie collection, to match, to contrast, and to work together with ease.

Printed using water-based inks, with each design created in the studio and brought to life in-house in Marlborough, Wiltshire.
