Figured Lampshades

Figured appears as a quiet, tonal surface, with pattern held subtly within the cloth. Formed through the studio’s exploration of tone and shade, areas of colour shift gently across the weave, creating a design that emerges gradually through light and movement. The pattern remains understated, giving depth without overt repetition. Printed on Fermoie light linen, its refined, tonal character lends itself naturally to lampshades, where the pattern repeats across the surface.

Each lampshade is designed and made in-house by hand in our Marlborough accessories workshop. Careful attention is given to proportion, placement and construction, ensuring the design sits clearly and evenly around the shape. Each design begins as a hand-drawn repeat, developed in the studio with colour created by eye to sit naturally within the wider collection. The result is a lampshade that is balanced and enduring.
