Country House

This was rather a tricky attic bedroom to tackle in a period country house. It is a guest bedroom with sloping ceilings and eaves. The window is opposite the bed and is a very low, very deep dormer. We decided to create a child’s bed/window seat which can also work as a really cosy reading nook, with lighting, fabric walling, blind and contrasting curtains.
