Bedroom Study, Greenwich CT
Interior Designer – Georgia Tapert Howe, Photographer – Max Burkhalter
This bedroom study in a house in Greenwich, Connecticut, was created primarily as a retreat for the lady of the house, who wanted the aesthetic to be subtly but not overtly feminine. For the Turkish corner daybed-banquette, we took inspiration from the influential Italian designer Renzo Mongiardino, whose painterly approach transformed interior design thinking in the 1970s and 80s. Finished in Fermoie Abbey Stripe fabric, it’s paired with a Billy Baldwin ottoman.
